Comments: | This information may refer to S. macrolepis (Ref. 57869). Recorded from the entire Levantine coast and the southern Aegean Sea (Ref. 94612). Migrated to Mersin and Izmir, Turkey from the Red Sea via the Suez Canal (Ref, 43448). Abundant at Mersin coasts and Iskenderun Bay, with decreasing abundance westwards of Antalya Bay (Ref. 94612).
